Keep up to date on people and events related to WGSF Television. I'll try to add posts as I learn of news involving people who worked or volunteered for the station. In some cases, there will be cross posts to other categories. For example, if news about the mobile truck is posted here, I will add it to the Mobile TV Truck post, to make it easier to find topics. The posts will be summarized and added to the WGSF TV Web site, as well.

It is always nice to see someone that you know gain recognition for their work. The June 5 'Columbus Dispatch' has a story about Associated Press Awards

Ohio Public Radio won two first-place awards: feature reporting (Karen Kasler) and enterprise reporting (Bill Cohen). The article includes his picture.

Bill volunteered at WGSF in the mid 70's and produced a couple of programs for the station. I know he helped us, and I would like to think that the experience with the station aided him in his career in some small way.
He was a reporter for WOSU-AM radio news for several years, then moved to the Ohio Public Radio State House News Bureau.
His reports are featured often on all Ohio Public Radio stations, and also on the National Public Radio news.
